Deforest Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website deforestsolutions.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when you use our site, contact us, or opt in to text messages from us.
We take your privacy seriously. We are a small, owner-operated business and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide, primarily through the forms on our website, or when you call, text, or email us. This may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- A property address you provide
- A description of your situation
- Any other information you choose to share in the message field
- Whether, how, and when you agreed to receive text messages from us, including the wording you agreed to
When you visit the site, Google Analytics also collects standard usage data automatically, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived at the site (see Cookies & Analytics below).
We also use publicly available property records, such as county auditor, recorder, and court records, to identify property owners who may want to sell, and we may contact those owners by mail or phone. We do not text anyone unless they have opted in.
We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, or sensitive financial data through this website.
How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about the possibility of purchasing your property. Specifically:
- To reply to your message personally (Greg responds to every inquiry)
- To follow up if you've requested a walkthrough or offer
- To send you text messages, only if you opted in to receive them (see Text Messaging below)
- To keep a record of our communications if a transaction moves forward
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our website so we can improve it
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Text Messaging (SMS)
You can opt in to text messages from Deforest Solutions by checking a text message consent box on one of our forms, by texting us first (for example, texting the number on one of our postcards or tapping Text on Greg’s card page), or by agreeing on a phone call and then replying YES to our confirmation text. Depending on how you opted in, messages may be about your property inquiry (such as scheduling a walkthrough and updates on your offer) or marketing messages (such as cash offers and check-ins about selling your property). - Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or sale.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at carp@deforestsolutions.net or (513) 780-5056.
- Phone numbers we obtain from any source other than your own opt-in are never enrolled in our text messaging program.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Web3Forms, which delivers website form submissions to our email inbox
- Our customer relationship management and business texting platform, and the telecommunications carriers that deliver text messages
- Google Analytics, which measures website traffic
These providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or court order.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data as described above; it does not give us your name, email, or phone number. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not run retargeting or advertising campaigns using data from this site.
Data Retention
Your information is retained only as long as necessary to service your inquiry or complete a transaction. If you request that we delete your contact information, email us and we will do so promptly.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect information submitted through this site. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of any future communication from us, including text messages (reply STOP at any time)

This website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to This Policy
